The Lock It Away Mailbox is heavy duty plastic mailbox that features an upper compartment, similar in shape to a conventional mail box, which is integrally attached to a spacious lower compartment. The panel between the upper and lower compartment is comprised of two hinged, mating panels which would be pushed downward to drop mail and parcels into lower compartment. The lower compartment is accessed by a rear door which is fitted with a lock and can only be opened with a key. That ensures that the contents with-in the lower compartment can only be accessed by the addressee, thereby safeguarding against mail theft, and the potential of identity theft.
