Lid is molded of a Black color G.E. Lexan - designed to withstand impact. When not in use, the red Lexan flag (not pictured) lays flush against lid.

Can be easily installed on a wall, on a fence, in a column or on top of a Country Post to make it a "710".
Has a full length aluminum piano hinge with durable stainless steel pins.
Sturdy riveted together wall of 1/8" thick fluted aluminum.
Gravity closing mail slot. Rust-resistant to keep weather out.
Conveniently remove mail through the easy-access front door.
Lock (with two keys) helps deter vandalism and mail theft. Additional keys & locks are available for an additional charge. (Keys cannot be duplicated locally).
Floor grid provides air circulation to help mail stay dry.
Ample storage areas hold an average of at least 5 days of normal mail.

Sometimes, if you have a good mail carrier, you can make arrangements with your mail carrier to lock the mailbox after the mail is delievered and then place the key in the slot along with the mail. You use your second key to open the mailbox.
